Après avoir rythmé les parties endiablées de joueurs PC et PlayStation VR, Beat Blaster fait son arrivée sur Oculus Quest. Pour rappel, il s’agit d’une sorte de mix de tir, de runner et d’esquives où tout se produit en rythme avec la musique, un peu comme dans Pistol Whip ; à la différence près que le joueur contrôle ici les déplacements latéraux et la vitesse de défilement. D’ailleurs, quatre possibilités de mouvement sont au programme. Vous pouvez choisir de vous déplacer en bougeant votre tête vers la zone de jeu, ou alors en l’inclinant ; mais il est également possible de jouer de façon traditionnelle avec le joystick de l’Oculus Touch ou encore avec le nouveau 3dRudder compatible Quest.
Chaque niveau, qui sont au nombre de 30, introduit des nouveautés et sont totalement renouvelés à chaque partie ; de façon procédurale. Bien entendu, les niveaux se suivent et sont de plus en plus complexes et demandent de la dextérité afin d’en venir à bout.
